Rand McNally intelliRoute TND 500

The battery low indicator has been resolved and will be in the next update due out shortly...

when the battery is running low a flashing battery will appear in the upper left corner on all screens - about 5 minutes before unit shuts off due to low battery

on the small town issue I have found on my Garmin that if I put the address in with the search all cities selected it will fimd the address.

Seabrook NJ is listed as Bridgeton NJ.

mark, have few other things for ya. do u know when that other update was coming out? didnt get anything diff. over wknd. also, any info when maps were taken from because in NC off I-85 the 485 bypass connecting to I-77 is done and shows in 2009 mcra but gps don't have it??

 

mark, also maybe u can check unit see if is ok and updates working. are u around area from pendergrass,ga going up 85 to NC then 77 to VA?? will be running up there later on. thnx

 

I am about 20 miles from the intersection of I 77 and I 40 in NC... that is the Statesville NC area...

 

Yep.. the last loop from I85 to I 77 was done awhile back.... I saw your "tell Rand",,, they forwarded to me since it is in my backdoor... Told them the outer loop is now done,, they have to correct the mapping data..

next version not quite released yet....

Car check engine light came on last night... code pointed to the speed sensors on the transmission... had to wait 4 hours for them to come in... 20 miles one way to auto parts store and car was in Limp along mode... so best to just wait for parts and fix in their parking lot.. 10 min job..

Sure,,, but when you get to the junction of I 77/ I 40... Take I 40 E... mm 170,,take left top of ramp. Horn's travel center (on right)... about 15 mile from I 77... then you can just take US 601 back to US 421 and this will put you just below the scales at the NC/VA border (I77)... the truck stop at I 77 x42 will prob be full by then... Horn's has lots of parking...(AmBest)..
