Yup, Firefox was the key. I saw what you meant when I opened it with Firefox and have fixed it. Also, it's been updated to reflect the rather large software update that Rand put out yesterday as well. Sorry for the crappy-looking chart on Firefox before.

Should be much better now: http://www.dieselboss.com/truck_gps_review_features.htm

Ahhh So I wasnt losing it lol... Mark, the latest batch of up dates were not installed when i came through Albuquerque NM heading west, however that same fatal error did not happen. just saying... Not sure if the errors were location specific..

So far every display model I've seen has been sitting there locked up with an error box on the screen. Not terribly good for sales, I think.

RM is aware, New update SD cards are being made so the salesmen can update when they visit the stores.

I got 18 of them done around SC, NC, VA and MD.

    Thanks,
    Mark

there are a lot of problems with this gps, you would think something with the Rand M. name on it you would be able to throw out your maps. Here is an example, I was in Orlando low on hours and wanted a restart at the T/A that I'm sitting at right now (Wildwood) I took the turnpike and got on 75 and took the exit for the T/A. the only problam was that the gps wanted me to stay on 75 for another 15 miles only to take an exit just to turn around and come back. I will give it credit, it knows Chicago, NYC, and other major cities but does not know rural roads to save its life. I do not regret getting it because I know that eventually all those problems will be fixed. I have updated it twice but I'm not sure if I did it right.

and why does this thing freeze up right at the end of my trips (you know when I need it the most) and say "this program has performed an illegal operation"

Which direction were you going on I-75 and which exit? sounds like the exit you needed may be wrong in the database as to truck friendly.

Make sure you routing settings are set on fastest and allow everything. RM is aware of a bug with the shortest and anything set to Avoid.

    Thanks,
    Mark

will you be down near Charlotte anytime soon? I'd like to see one of these before making a decision.
