Has anyone heard of the Rand McNally Route Tools? Is it GPS or capable or is it just a route planner?

Never heard of it. What is it a program for computer or what??
-
Just googled it, and it sounds like it's not designed for truckers. Almost $200 for something you can get at MapQuest for free. From what I read on it just now, it's intended for travel and business, not truckers.
-
It's for you computer, and it is for truckers. It let's you put in your truck height and length, also truck stops. It came out this month and it's 79.99 on Rand MaNally's web site.
-
Must not come under the name listed above, as that is not what I came up with under that name was not $80.
-
If you'll note my earlier post, I googled it and found the information on Rand McNally's website.

I have the PC version of Rand McNally House Hold movers routing software.
If the newer version is anything like the version I have. You're gonna hate it.
My version isn't a "stand alone" product. The CD must be in the drive, to use the software. And there are 4 differant settings for determining routing.
2 practical. 2 short. And they all suck.
This software taught me the differnce between practical routing, and practical miles. -
I got on there and looked. It is there, it is 79.99 and it is configurable for trucks. If you would like, I can send you the link.
It was a little work to find it. Sort of obscureLilbit Thanks this. -
That's where I saw it, Rand McNally web site. gotta click store tab, then electronics and mapping softwear, then it's in the middle of the page. If it's from Rand Mcnally then I thought it would be fairly accurate. Just wondering if it is gps capable.
