I accidently formatted my sd card thinking it wouldnt effect my gps. now my gps wont start.
i try connecting it to the dock and now it wont detect its connected. can someone help me?

Why did you delete them? -
You deleted the NaviMaps. You will have to contact RM to get the Maps again.
Connecting to the computer has nothing to do with the SD Card. With the 720 connected to the computer and on, press the reset button on the back.

Ok sir I'll start out by saying I know what I did was stupid and idiotic and I don't really have an excuse for why I did it other than I just got frustrated and in a hurry I deleted not only the memory card but I also formatted the gps itself now all it says is system file missing and it says it's connected to the computer but the computer only recognizes it as another disk. I feel so stupid is there any
Hope of getting in fixed it's a 730 lm.

Not a total loss... 1st off the 730 does not need an SD Card. Plenty of memory available inside the unit.
If you are home I can remote into your computer and restore the needed files on the 730.

Hi i did the same dumb thing but i had it connected to another laptop n some how when i was trying to delete files on my laptop it went to the gps n deleted them too. so could you help me out remotely as wel?
