There are merge lanes downstream from the side street intended to be used by people turning onto 50, so that works just as well.

I hate theft in general, that being said:

The guys who steal cats, guys who do tons of damage to steal a couple hundred bucks worth of copper, etc, need to be given a good old fashioned horse whipping. They crap needs to be made not worth the payoff.

Could be worse. You could be a city driver and have your trailer door look like that by the time you get to your first delivery. :biggrin_2552:

I was considering asking if they wanted me to clear it off with a broom, but I just ended up leaving it in the yard for the hostler for deal with.

Welp, it became official this past Monday.

I'm no longer a full time driver, just short of my 19th anniversary.

I've been drafted into the dreaded OFFICE. I am to become the dock manager for my employer.
The dedicated run I had has received its replacement, whom I (knowingly) trained. And so far, the other drivers seem happy, and so do the rest of the office people (dispatchers, and the bosses).

I will still drive on occasion, to fill in, shuttle trailers, switch trailers, manage our off site warehouse, and to transfer trucks to and from our shop (also offsite).

I'm kinda looking forward to this.
