hey guys so an owner operator didnt set his brakes when he exited the truck and his rig rolled into the side of my trailer on company grounds. i filled out another report and had to see the company doctor for injuries, my neck and back are sore AF .... guess ill be talking with safety again , but i know this one was not my fault. will keep yall updated FUDGING WEDNESDAYS

Texas_hwy_287, Speed_Drums, McUzi and 2 others Thank this. -
ok boys i went to the doctor i'm just sore, the doctor put me on modified duty. and King Safety told me i wouldn't get any points, write ups or coaching. he told me that i did the right thing by going to doctors. witch brings me to my next point, i brought the medical papers to the "TM" and his was response was " Oh whatever take it to safety " like i'm faking injuries or something.. I've been patient with the company for 2 years and i'm currently only there till i move to Arizona. i understand how much freight we have to deliver.but i didn't even get a "hey jay5gs are you ok"... so after this week ill be applying else where for hazmat only work.
Currently 10 shifts behind on delivers and Pick ups don't even get me started BOLs are dated weeks back. our current wait time @ pick ups is only 10 min.jmz, truckguy391, alds and 3 others Thank this. -
I’m sorry, but that reaction that your TM gave you is piss poor management.
You may be just sore for now, but while you’re on the mend for a week and likely finishing earlier, get a second opinion from a doctor of your choosing (assuming you went to the company’s WC physician). You’re 100% within your legal right to do so under WC, regardless of what the TM tells you. Of course, this is assuming you were satisfied with the diagnosis from wherever you were seen. In that case I’ll fornicate myself.misterG, Gearjammin' Penguin, Cardfan89 and 1 other person Thank this. -
How does a terminal wind up that far in the hole?

And I thought my barn was bad.Jay5GS Thanks this. -
How about Ammonium Nitrate especially prilled for the explosives industry? Mix the right ratio of AN and diesel and you have anfo which I think is still classed as a blasting agent.
You can haul anfo premixed in bags, bulk, or tanker but you can't have caps, boosters, or detonators in the same compartment.McUzi Thanks this. -
yeah uzi .i'm satisfied with the doctors decision and will do the week of modified duty while i look for another gig and i'm tired of the companies bs. they have grown so much in the past two years but the company hasn't past anything down to the drivers, but the owner son has a new car every 3 month and the CFO has 250 thousand dollar Mercedes... just applied to prax air and ecolabGearjammin' Penguin, McUzi, snowbird_89 and 1 other person Thank this.
