Man o man in this economy ? Cant be too good of a position or the senior drivers would throw a #### fit. Best believe drivers will gossip when a noob comes in off the street and gets pampered

I know this is an LTL thread/forum, but just curious if anyone in here has done food delivery before.

Having a discussion with a McClane food service guy on another forum, and if he's truly made 44k already this year working 37 hours per week, I'm impressed.

    Or is there a catch?

I believe the pay but not the hours if he is logging all hours worked. The convenience store division runs team and both driver are unloading at the stops. The restaurant/food service runs single and maybe with component pay on the right bid it’s possible. Years ago when I was at Frito Lay I would to talk to a team at the hotel restaurant every week and they both logged all hours unloading therefore they had to get a hotel on their run, but he said some teams unloaded off duty. He did brag on the pay, which was very close to my pay at the time.

Hahaha I won't. I just don't quite follow the viability of such a business model.

They are definitely a good company and compensate their people well. They have been one of the best in their industry for years. Bought from Walmart years ago by one of the wealthiest men in America.

Well then fair enough. I know my overall package puts me well ahead, but on paper he's edging me out by a couple thousand.

Nothing some extra work can't fix. Lol
