    Flip your forks upside down.
Those forks are heavy but beats fighting skids like you are talking about.
Try a rug pole to move skid back .

You get the freight on the first load bar. Then you lift the freight high as you can. You put another bar up. Lift the freight with the mast and it’s to the ceiling. Put a bar up then drop it down. Let the next person deal with it. A seasoned dock worker/ driver will know how to deal with it. I destroyed a roof on a trailer before trying to do this before I was properly trained/ experienced.

    Different fork lift.

The unicycle ones go higher than they Toyota, and the electric Toyota goes higher yet.

I don't mind that the get put up. I mind when they put up a busted pallet and I have to try and strap the thing to the forks to get it out.

Does FedEx even do their own linehaul anymore. I only see company trucks pulling P&D and Express trailers. All the freight doubles are contractors now.

I’ve never seen a flip flopper hauling a set of FedEx Freight pups. The PT trailers are usually 53’ trailers. The exception are the FedEx Freight containers. I’ve seen contractors pulling the containers before.

Lumper Humper, jmz and Speedy356 Thank this.
