Come on man, you've already done the majority of the time. Anyone can live with a year and a half of no sleep! Sleep is so over-rated anyhow.
Get her through school, then let her support you for a change!![]()

This old crap of "women's work," is well, just crap. Besides everyone knows that "women's work" consists of buckin' hay bales, rickin' & choppin' fire wood and painting the exterior of the house.XFM2013 Thanks this. -
Lol my girl wants me to work less hours once she finishes school in June.

slip seating is great.
no really
nothing better than getting your assigned truck having a huge puddle of coolant underneath it (yeah, obviously someone did a post trip last night, really, I"m sure)
the next one is 8000 miles overdue on PM and someone unscrewed the Elog console so it's just hanging down (yes, it's bright and annoying, put your coat over it, not rocket science), so back to paper again.
and the trailer
what a POS
tracks 6 inches to the left. You can't even see the right side of the trailer going down the road, makes getting back into the lane quite an adventure, the 2nd reefer unit (the fridge part) didn't ever get below 41 degrees (supposed to be 34) and never shut off, even on start/stop mode. The upper clearance light went out the last day (but I made the scales during the day, figure they can fix it at night when I"m back).
I wrote both up both with DO NOT DISPATCH written clearly on them, moved the keys to the write up on the truck and told the warehouse guys not to reload the trailer for a load out today.
I"m sure they both went out on runs today.
and they wonder why their CSA score sucks.cool35, road_runner and Glp Thank this. -
Lone Cowboy, don't you know that cowboy's don't apologize, don't explain and don't WHINE!
No reason to get upset over little things like having a "safe" truck. Shoot, if it runs, it's "good-e-nuff" to send down the road. -
For everything holy they finally turned our trucks back up. Never thought I'd see the day.

I work 9am-6pm most days. Over the road drivers are nuts
