When it comes right down to it, there really isn't a lot of difference between different companies doing the say type of work. Sure there are differences between dedicated food haulers such as Cisco and LLTs such as Odie. But there isn't that much difference between Odie and Conway, or Cisco and Shamrock.

Yeah, but your mechanic will love you for it! He wanted to take his wife on that Christmas Cruise, you know. And now YOU have provided the means for him to do it!

Enjoy your time off, and good luck with your new job! Perhaps you can join otter with his shovel? Of course he don't get paid for using, (or leaning against,) his!:biggrin_25525:

Interesting to see how threads run their course, seem to die, or at least "go dormant," for a bit, then sometimes come back to life.

Guess there may be something to be said for a union job. We always had Thanksgiving off with holiday pay. But the company was pretty much buttoned up on Friday, except for a few accounts. Nobody got any type of extra pay for working on that Friday, but nobody got any pay for taking the Friday off. Ah yes, GOOD OLD UTAH. . .:biggrin_25513:
