So, they bring a truck right back from Ryder and I get it. (I mean literally had been back for 10 minutes). I discover (after daylight shows) that it's 16,000 (sixteen thousand) miles overdue for it's 25,000 mile service.
Actually the truck wasn't bad, but REALLY??????????????

sorry to hear that man. Was that your only gripe about the company? I applied with them on Thursday morning for city or line haul position.
-
the equiptment is Horrible, constant waiting around every nite and general incompatace on a massive scale.no matainace of tractors, trailer or dollys.i dont think this reflectes the whole comp, but it did where i worked.

How does their xtra board work? Is it out and back every night or do you bag out?
-

also look at the equipt in the yard,if it is old 8100s for the most part and look like ####,you might wanna consider ODFL or ABF or someone who takes care of their equipt.you aint gonna make money sitting on the side of the road,1st 2 hrs free.
BIGreem1985 Thanks this. -
Got soaked to the skin 3 times last night. Hard rain everywhere I went, and about the time I dried out I had to do it all over again. Bought a pickup Friday, and forgot (right after checking the forecast, too!) that my rain gear was still in the old one. I've got it handy now though, so it'll probably be sunny and dry the rest of the week.
