I used to carry my glasses in a soft case that clipped onto my belt. NOT sunglasses, but the ones that I wore for anything close up. Anyway, I got off work one night, put the glasses into the case, jumped into my truck and went home. Reached for my glasses, no glasses. No case. Fortunately, I had a back up pair.
Anyway, got to work the next day, and there they are in the parking lot. Right where I had run over them, when I backed out.......smh

Could give a whole new meaning to HUA!:D

Off to sleepy time, have more work tomorrow. Gosh these Holiday weeks sometimes are a long drag. Today is Friday, but it' s amazing how meaningless Friday is when it's a chopped up Holiday week and you have work like a normal day on Saturday.
Actually today Friday doesn't feel like any day it's like a nothing day doesn't feel like a day at all oh well. That's alright when I got into this business I told my self nights, weekends, and holidays those are the days you'll be working.

That's one nice think about working saturdays.

Work fast though, because your tranquility will be short lived once the travelers start waking up.

So I set off this morning at 4:00am it was dark and kind of damp and a little cold, but my helper and I set out on our voyage. 4:00am Saturday morning there wasn't much going on as far as 4 wheeler traffic. Ironically though, we did not have to wait at a single stop. I was amazed. Our first stop was one of our market place stores, and it was palatalized no less so backed into the dock set the dock plate and pulled the skid off and put it in the cooler secured the store and left to our second stop.

We got to our second stop and I had no idea what to expect. Well the prep chef was there at 5:30am and he was none to happy to see us. The owners of the place it was a bar and grill knew he was going to be there so they said yes send it on through, but they didn't tell him that way he couldn't complain and put up a fuss.

He says to me "How did you know I was going to be here?" I said "I had no idea frankly, I was planning on getting stuck here." However to no avail we trudged on. Got to the Air Port Hotel and did them, and actually that stop was pretty easy for the most part. They have an inside loading dock, but you just back straight in have to watch out for a dumpster, but outside of that it ain't nothing the freezers a little bit of a pain to get off the truck, but other then that really an easy stop.

Then we went to another bar and grill got there at about 6:30something. What's amazing is these bars and grills close at 2am and just 3-4 hours later there is already someone back in there working at 6:30am well a lot of these bar/grills that we do have fairly big restaurant operations and they do a lot of stuff from scratch so they need someone to do prep cook, cooking bacon and making french fries and forming hamburger patties and making chicken wings and so on and so fourth.

Then from there we did a Towne Home Suites type of place and them the rest of the day was the same mostly bar and grill type places and by 10:30am we were on the way home. It was amazing that we didn't have to wait for anystop to get there they were all there that early.

I did get blocked in by a straight truck at the mall and I asked the driver if he could move so I could get out of his way and he gave me a little bit of attitude, but it was his own darn fault.

I also saw one of @truck_guy co-workers there at South Park Mall making a delivery to some place there parked close to where I had to go.
Alright anyhow that's all I got for today!

I had that Taco Bell one summer a few years ago. No key, and they would show up somewhere around 9. Or 10. One day I went around and hopped the counter and let myself in. The manager showed up when I was almost done, and none too happy. That got me a phone call from customer service. I explained the situation again, and told her next time I was piling the #### in the hallway or I was leaving and not going back. I never had to wait again, but it was a strained relationship for the rest of the bid.

One of your guys did a place next door. If I saw him he was late and having a really bad day, usually because his trailer was late. He was a nice guy, so I would help him sometimes, though mostly because he was parked in my spot.
