It always sucks when these companies start with their financial shenanigans. You really don't know who to believe, but I guess what you believe really doesn't matter. You either stay with the devil you know, or you try to get on with the devil you don't know.
I'm betting the top brass there took neither a pay cut, nor a "wage freeze." We have all heard the threats these companies make to "go belly up," or "close their doors," if they don't get things their way. The hell of it is, you never really know when that is exactly what they will do. I'm sure most of us have seen it go both ways, with different companies of course.
