Our transit sets used to blow tires all the time. You guys must use better tires then us.

    I hate Sysco.

They reversed my run to accomodate these people and their 1:00 PM cutoff, which means driving right past my concentrated area to a place 30 miles out of the way. By the time I get back up there everything will be closed, which means returns out the wazoo.

And, to add insult to injury, they go to lunch at 11:30. Problem is, I got here at 11:20, and the jerk at the guard shack STILL wouldn't let me in. I could've been breaking this stuff down while the warehouse yahoos are busy stuffing their faces. This is bull ####.

Now they get to pay detention charges.

Usually the LTL trucks when they come to our GFS warehouses usually get in and out with out to much delay.

I lucked out and made it 2 years before blowing one at Dayton. That's incredible considering the miles I run. They are pretty serious about tires.

And by the way, no hotel. I managed to make it back legally.

    Mike2633 and Naptown Thank this.

Went to mcds (at a Pilot) and on the way back...a flatbedder turning left hit the front end of a Budweiser truck. Nothing more than a scrap, but this intersection is small, in front of a business thats has trucks in and out. Now that one road he was turning onto was blocked. Didnt see the flatbed company though

It's a good feeling when you make it back just under the wire and get to go home to your own bed. I can't sleep well unless I'm at home with the dogs. Our Newfie always climbs into bed with me after the wife leaves for work, and it's like having a 140 lb teddy bear. Wife has no idea, but she always wonders why I scratch behind her ears when I wake up on weekends.

nothing much to rant about this week. (I know, I"m a little worried myself, I might die with nothing to ##### about :) ). Easy run this week, Denver to Raton, meet up, drop and hook and return. means i only have to make and break one set, there's little traffic and I"m done in 8 hours and change. Doesn't pay awesome, but it's easy and efficient. Heck last night the meet guy brought a 53, (with like 4000lbs in it, almost empty), didn't even have to break a set.

Did two solid days of riding this week. Which I guess was fine haven't had a break like that in a while.

Tomorrow I'm out at our small drop yard in the LC. We have yards scattered all over the place there's big master yards and then smaller little yards with just a shed and nothing more. This one is a shed and nothing more.
