I was off today. Did a whole lot of nothing really. Working tomorrow, so I expect I'll see the fireworks from my office window :-D Depending on how my layover works out, that is...I may just sleep through the festivities.

My handheld today was taking a real crap. I had to restart it 3 times to get it to synchronize up at the end of the day. I don't think tomorrow is to heavy, but I'll be out there tomorrow so if any of you are around be sure to waive.

well my shift won't finish until tomorrow so I suppose that counts. I'll wave.

my truck isn't back from the shop (which I wish they had told me it was going) so i won't have all my stuff and i have to use someone else's truck (who won't like me using his anymore than I would)

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

Last time I used someone else's truck I texted him pictures of me touching his stuff. Hilarious.

I'm doing P&D with a 48 footer in really tight residential and commercial areas, delivering everything from weight sets to sump pumps. Also' dropping off UPAKS (28 footers) at peoples homes for moving; and backing up those long, steep winding driveways are loads o' fun.... " Sir, would you mind dropping off the trailer up there between the swing set and the shed"?

    Yessir, misery does love company.
I just got home after a brutal, 14 hours.
And yes, it was demoralizing to be sweating and stinking while driving on the roads and seeing all those people in shorts and tank tops...smiling and laughing and and enjoying their day... off work!

    Mike2633 and road_runner Thank this.
