Alright so far so good here at the big serrious modern food factory they got something on me because I have felt the trailer move. Here with all the truck load carriers everything is big and serrious scales and lights and load seals and security. And trailer #s and inspection reports and yard spotters from all around.
Nothing like the Cleveland Food Terminal built 100 years ago no scales lights or security there just some antiquated docks and a window for paper work.
Been to two new places today a Hospital and the food plant both new to me.
Started my day at 1:00am made two drops at two hospitals now picking up my back haul at the meat plant.

had our balls cut off
entire company (all contractors) now (as of monday) limited to 65.
woohoo, welcome to the elephant races
went from 74mph (speed limit out here is 75 or 80) to 65. That's a 13% cut in pay.
not pleasedCardfan89, Mike2633, Bob Dobalina and 1 other person Thank this. -
If it makes you feel better, I have no limiter but rarely ride over 65 pulling my tank, anyway.misterG, Mike2633 and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
Yesterday was the closest I guess I ever came to experiencing OTR refrudgerated multiple drop experience. I drove from Pitt-CLE dropped off at The hospital in CLE, then ran from CLE-CANTON Ohjo and emptied out at another hospital.
Then the game was on went from Canton to a meat plant and had a load to pick up there.
The meat plant while everyone was nice it was a big place with fancy rules and all the typical big time sleeper cab OTR trucking stuff. Going to the meat plant was not to to bad, but it was a road and route I have never been down before, so that put me on edge a tad.
Anyhow I ended up getting to the meat plant just fine. I had to go to the guard shack and wait in line and they had to fill out big fancy paper work and then I had to go get the truck scaled and then when that was done go to the pick up side of the yard and these new updated food places you don't even open the trailer they all have to docks where the trailer can be open from inside, you back into the dock doors closed and just wait for the light to turn red. Then it turns red and you wait for it to turn green again. When it's green you pull out trailer doors are closed and already sealed. Then you go back on the scale and get reweighed. Fun in the sun!
It's actually a little bit of a process and a lot of back and fourth.
They weigh you for DOT purposes, but not really what they are really re weighing you for is to make sure there not under shipping or over shipping. I grossed out at 49,020 on the reweighed.
Any how after that I had to find my way back to the turnpike which I did it worked out pretty good and then back to the wear house everything worked out fine. I'm on night shift all week I'm going to go down to the hotel lobby and get something to drink I don't feel like leaving to go to the store I usually have been starting work in the middle of the night.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. -
They were all passing me up in the non stop night construction zones on the turnpike in the middle of the night today. Not FedEx ground actually didnt really see many LTL trucks out around Youngstown, Ohio early this morning.

Trucker loses trailer, doesn't realize until seven miles down the road | CDLLifeMACK E-6 Thanks this. -
But I can tell you from being stuck at 62 at MBM (out here where speed limits are 75-80 and people go way faster than that), that because the only place you can make up time is in town, guess what happens?
It didn't happen to me, but there were TONS of tickets for people doing 55/60 in 45mph zones in towns and cities.
What do they expect?G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Mike2633 Thanks this.
