That I can live with! You could eat off the floor of the trucks that I drive...
I smoke, with the window down, and toss the butts. There should be no problem for the regular driver.
In fact, many drivers are lazy pigs, so I'll even do a little cleaning around the cab also, which NONE have ever complained about.
I get along with 99% of my fellow drivers, and as I've stated before with my Yellow brothers 15 years ago, but this new crop? Whining about cigarette smoke?
Teamsters whining about a whiff of my cig smoke hitting their "oh so precious" noses, was the end. Sure, vote wages and benefits into the dumpster, but worry about my smoking.

Then again, whining from drivers is something that I'm used to.
Yellow used to use to line haul trucks when the drivers were sleeping in their hotel here, when the season was busy, and they didn't have enough of their 30 year old city tractors available...
I was called into the office one day because one of my fellow "brothers" complained I had changed the radio station, and didn't set it back.
Dispatcher and I both had a laugh at that one!
Teamsters... which I still am... USED to be tough. USED to not need their diapers changed on a regular basis. Now, not so much.misterG, Mike2633 and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
why does ohio wait until friday night to choke 70e down to 1 lane in dayton? mofos. i had 640 miles and 4 dh to cover last night, i didn't need 35 minutes of -just fast enough i couldn't log on duty not driving- sucking the life out of my drive time. i also get paid to sit in traffic backups. luckily i wasn't the only one so we all got a few bucks thrown at us.

All I'm saying is that every week we pick up at Harvest Sensations in Miami Florida....normally 7 to 12 pallets of all types of stuff....issue is that fat lazy Mexican on the forklift that thinks its cool to bust your pallets then push the mess into your trailer....the supervisor is worthless as well that's why my previous post was like F@%$ Harvest sensations...
Bob Dobalina and Mike2633 Thank this. -
