Kinda pointless. When I quit the first go around, No one asked for the key back. Held onto it and now my 2nd go around still have my original key and a backup.
Would not be surprised if this same key has been around for 20 years and still in possession of 100's of former/retired drivers.

    Honor system :biggrin_2559:

Yeah I know it would be a PITA to overhual it.

My question mark: How long have you had the key in your possession? If i read correct, you have been with your company almost 2 decades.

    Marksteven and road_runner Thank this.

Thanks mark, Tuesday I'll ask someone how long ago the company started it.
I offered it back when in a different uniform to old coworker. He said just keep it.

    Honor system lol

In the end, not worth mucking a good job for something stupid. 20 million going to federal reserve hmmmmm !

ETA: Clarify to any readers. 10 million is worth prison if they never find it :biggrin_25525:

    PS: we don't do currency.

Yea, you know i kinda like the Padlock Deal. I'm real Paranoid about forgetting to close the roll door after a stop. I dont need the pallet Jack
flying out the back hitting another vehicle. With an average of 24 stops daily the likelyhood is there. I keep the key on my belt loop so if the key is gone then the lock isnt on and the door is probably still open.

My rant for today: not having the patience to just wait outside our yard last night (just before midnight) while all the linehaul guys were done trying to get out of there: before I drive inside in a long box and just can't park the thing..... I looked like someone that JUST got their CDL out of a Cracker Jack box!!!! ...( Finally pulled out, turned around, and came back to try again (I'm sure I was the laughing stock last night)

once you build some seniority, you wont have to deal with that crap anymore. When the line guys would be sitting in their trucks waiting to be loaded, id blast my horn to get them to move so i could drop my empty were they parked their tractor
