Here we go again. Stuck at the shop waiting for them to put new tires on the pup. I can't never leave on time.

 

Also this is what happens when we shut down for 1 day because of the bad weather. Freight everywhere and more coming in





4 hours mandatory OT and they are trying to have people come on the weekend as well. I feel bad for full time dockworkers

Last run of the week is a short one. Not bad. Sometimes it works out. Made my money, now I get to relax.

 

Looks like an awful lot of damaged freight claims in the making to me.

 

“Hey, just so you know, we might be forcing the bottom 3 road drivers in on Saturday because Newburgh is running hub operations to catch up from Tuesday”

Oh no, say it isn’t so, you’re gonna make me a 450 mile shuttle run on a Saturday night with no dock work, clear weather and wide open highways? I’d have volunteered for it regardless.

Looks like I might be recapping next week.

 

Those are PA Turnpike trucks. Them Turnpike boys know how to keep the roads clear, unlike Penndot.
