Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

in todays rant i went to do a pre trip inspection on my truck and noticed both my front hub seals have no oil and were leaking every where lol theh driver before wrote everything ok and came back from a line hual LAX TO LAS .....Mind Blown that the truck didnt fall apart

 

So I'm seeing so many cool things out on the road at night.

Two nights ago I got passed up by a fast moving Ward Trucking, truck from Altoona, PA. Now normally me getting passed up isn't worth of a post, my truck pulls a heavy load and I just huff and puff along.

Anyhow, this Ward truck I saw the driver had installed this cool green solid burn LED light bar on the dashboard and it was like the same shade of green Ward has all there trucks painted and then he had (2) LED solid burn green marker lights on either side of the truck, on the outside of the cab. They were pretty cool looking. I know back in the day guys would take different colored lights and put them on the dash board so there friends on the CB could see them coming the other way.

I still see that from time to time. I don't have a CB because I'm just a rental road driver,but every now and then I'll see a truck with a colored strand of LED lights on the dashboard.

 

Hopwood is where he went. The yard is right off Business 40. 6 trailer, 6 drivers, 2 transit drivers.

 

Takes 10 seconds to put a CB in the Volvo, LOL. 30 seconds if you hard wire it like I did.

 

I'd have to buy one first LOL!

I did happen to drive past it LOL! Pretty sure I'll be driving past it again.
