But they won't. Not Their Problem.

One of the benefits of a small yard is that everyone has common sense about these things. We've contacted the guy, he has a forklift, and if something goes sideways, the boss knows when we say 'impossible' we really mean it. I'd hate to be faced with the corporate stupidity you seem to encounter on a regular...! :(

I love that about the company I work for. Everyone above me on the ladder knows me, and they know if I say I can’t do it, I really mean it can’t be done with this equipment.

That crate of yours will need more than a forklift, unless it’s a telescoping forklift, because you sure as hell aren’t moving it with a pallet jack.

If it’s a regular lift you might need a crap ton of rigging to drag it to the back of the trailer, possibly the length of the trailer AND enough to wrap around it.

Well, between the door jambs is what I meant. I thought the liftgates I've pulled were a little tighter than a full 8 feet, but I could be wrong.

Oh, you found it there.... ok.

IIRC the union voted to allow those in their contract, but I suspect they didn’t know what they were really voting for.

They usually are and a slight overhang isn’t too big a deal if you have one of the Maxon liftgates where the hinges are underneath.

Wonder how many job openings this will create.
