Yeah, but that truck stop has a dunkin' donuts, and I love iced coffee. Lol

 

That's kinda hard to argue with lol.

 

See? It was a real conundrum.

 

Yeah, there are so many truck stops in that area, it's never really packed to capacity. it would still be impossible for me to find a spot in the parking lot, but I can at least get away with a 10 minute fuel island stop.

 

Did you try to explain that to the guy? I'm sure he would have understood lol. It is kinda funny tho. You can tell someone never pulled doubles before and doesn't understand that you are pretty much forward only. I have been practicing backing and can finally loop around and hit a dock with the rear trailer but it's really slow going.

 

Oh, given enough time (an hour or so), I could probably back into a spot. But I'm #### sure not going to do it while I'm tired, in need of coffee, and with a truck on either side of the spot. Lol

 

###### if you do ###### if you don't. Park on the fuel island and you are a dick, take forever to park it in a spot and block the lot and you are a dick. I have only ever hit one truck stop (loves in Gainesville) and getting in wasn't too bad but snaking around all the people parked like idiots getting out made me swear off truck stops.....never again.

 

Just ask him where he expects you to take your 30 lol

 

I try to be respectful about that as well. I like to go sideways, block all the lanes of traffic, and set my brakes. Then take a nice long nap.

You know what's better than a 30-minute nap on a highway? A 60-minute nap.

 

Permissible only with sweatpants and flip flops.
