When I was a yard jockey at AAA Coopwe we had 3 of those and they were always in shop. Lol. Always an issue with fifth wheel.
At my current company, I still see them at shop all the time lolLtlAnonymous, Mike2633 and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
That old one was known for dropping trailers at one point, thankfully that was before I ever had to use it tho. I do whatever I can to avoid using it, I always grab a road tractor when it's the only one there. We have another brand new one at a bottling plant that never gets used so they are talking about swapping them for us.LtlAnonymous and Mike2633 Thank this.

I drove that old one like a mile and a half down the road to grab a rental trailer from XPO and 35mph was terrifying. It felt like I was doing 350mph in a shopping cart.Bob Dobalina, Cardfan89, Mike2633 and 1 other person Thank this.

Are guys slam those trailers around like they are nothing. Anytime I Back into a dock a little hard I say, well what ever I’ve done the yard switcher has done worse.Cardfan89, EuropeanTrucker, double_r and 4 others Thank this.

You should hear when I back the automatic Freightliner bulk trucks in lol. They just like to drag themselves to a stop so you can't creep up in the dock. I feel like it's always hammer down time in those things just to get them to move.Mike2633, LoneCowboy and MACK E-6 Thank this.
