Not sure if everyone nationwide went on strike but sysco in Denver did. Not trying to compare Foodservice to non physical driving job but to be paid as much as UPS package job is pretty good for how hard they work. I feel it’s where all Foodservice jobs should be paid.LtlAnonymous, McUzi, Cardfan89 and 3 others Thank this.

All of ours are spec'd the same. It's part of the Dayton Difference!LtlAnonymous, FlaSwampRat, Mike2633 and 3 others Thank this.

...Ours too.
I heard once a while back that XPO puts them on the other side because apparently they think that’s the only time a driver would ever see the other side of the trailer.
LtlAnonymous, Bob Dobalina, McUzi and 3 others Thank this. -
Curb side is thought to be safer. That said now you have to step around the front corner , when it may be hard to see traffic coming . Can argue on ether side on that issue.
LtlAnonymous, McUzi and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
That's from the old Consolidated Freightways Days remember XPO was Con-Way Freight which was Conway Central Express, which was a regional LTL carrier formed by Consolidated Freightways in the 1980s.LtlAnonymous, The Shadow, McUzi and 2 others Thank this.

Ughhh working a sixth day today and next week. Really don't want to but I had to cover vacations.
LtlAnonymous, Cardfan89 and McUzi Thank this. -
That's like with FedEx, our trailers could have come from American Freightways, Viking Freight, or Watkins Motor Lines/FedEx National. Then there's also FedEx Freight Canada trailers that sometimes end up south of the border.LtlAnonymous, Mike2633, Cardfan89 and 2 others Thank this.

BUT.....

LtlAnonymous, Mike2633, FlaSwampRat and 1 other person Thank this. -
Of course, a new dispatcher gets put into my bidded hub the week I give my notice. And of course, it’s a dispatcher that wants to run my ### ragged with freight.
But, like anything with FedEx, if it’s awesome, it will come to an end shortly.LtlAnonymous, jmz, FlaSwampRat and 2 others Thank this.
