Not sure if everyone nationwide went on strike but sysco in Denver did. Not trying to compare Foodservice to non physical driving job but to be paid as much as UPS package job is pretty good for how hard they work. I feel it’s where all Foodservice jobs should be paid.

    ...Ours too.

I heard once a while back that XPO puts them on the other side because apparently they think that’s the only time a driver would ever see the other side of the trailer.

Curb side is thought to be safer. That said now you have to step around the front corner , when it may be hard to see traffic coming . Can argue on ether side on that issue.

That's from the old Consolidated Freightways Days remember XPO was Con-Way Freight which was Conway Central Express, which was a regional LTL carrier formed by Consolidated Freightways in the 1980s.

That's like with FedEx, our trailers could have come from American Freightways, Viking Freight, or Watkins Motor Lines/FedEx National. Then there's also FedEx Freight Canada trailers that sometimes end up south of the border.

Of course, a new dispatcher gets put into my bidded hub the week I give my notice. And of course, it’s a dispatcher that wants to run my ### ragged with freight.
But, like anything with FedEx, if it’s awesome, it will come to an end shortly.
