4 lyfe! Lol
Is that truck one of the ones that goes to the retail stores? That being said are the retail stores serviced by your trucks like a normal stop? There is a GFS store right up the road from my house and I've delivered it running a full service route before just like a gas station but GFS barn gets bulk delivery from us.

I always see a lot of guys leave the trailer brakes released when disconnecting from the rear trailer, and I heard it makes it way easier to pull the 5th wheel pin on the dolly. Well today I finally decided to try it and I learned 2 helpful lessons.
1. It absolutely does work!
2. Don’t do it on a hill.LPjunior1970, McUzi, misterG and 2 others Thank this. -

Yesterday was interesting.
They told me Friday about noonish I had an interline freight run. Great, fine.
About 2 hours later I was told they added a delivery to it to do before or after. Not so great OR fine.
After seeing the freight bill I looked up the address and see it’s house delivery. Wow... even better.
Since I have absolutely no intention of doing house deliveries of full size pallets of anything on a 53’ trailer, even if it is only allegedly 40 lbs. so I spent two hours swinging the load over to pups before I left. That allowed dropping one trailer at the interline terminal, doing the delivery on the other, then dropping the second trailer.
Now, as one idiot backstabbing rat of a co-worker tried to say to me later....
“But... but... They couldn’t come meet you?”
What if you can’t get ahold of them? What if they’re not home... which they weren’t? ....Especially since Friday evening I had to listen to a dispatcher whine about what a major dustup was caused by that shipment not going out Friday. This way there’s no chance for those kinds of complications. Like I told the dispatcher, don’t worry. I’ll handle it. You might not like how I handle it, but it’ll #### sure get done.Gearjammin' Penguin, Digman943, Cardfan89 and 2 others Thank this. -
