I am getting ready for the new HOS , and I need a device device.I heard on satellite radio that it plugs into your diag. port and can tell you many things including fuel mileage.Has anyone bought this device or can someone recommend a similar device?.I am trying to weigh my option with this new rule. This device is only $150 online.

I asked this to be posted to Electronic Connection as it is better suited there. I work for RM, but have not heard any pro's/con's so far on this device.

There was a post on this forum a while ago that indicated that one of the plug in ELD devices from RM was Not Compatible with the Diag. Port on some trucks.
I would call RM and double check that before buying one.

That was the 760 on the newer 2016 trucks. They are making a patch cable for them. You would need to call RM to get more info. Ask for Fleet.
