    I only know dry van dry freight, no produce.
    I know I check the boards for those areas every so often and have never really seen anything noteworthy. But your company might have contract rates for certain customers at certain times of year. Load board is really a crap shoot. One day it can be $3/mi and the next $1.20.

    I do remember deadheading from Billings to Fargo a couple of years ago because Billings had absolute crap on the board.

    99% of our east bound loads are produce that pay by the hundred weight. This could explain the good rates. I regularly deadhead 100 to 300 miles in the mid west to get a back haul to.
