I went california to Oregon. Couple scales open . Didn't see any inspections going on.. I was parked on an on ramp in cali the other day that I have parked at probably 50+ times and never had a problem. chp came by and told me to move on but he let me go without a ticket .. luckily I still had some time on the logbook and found another place to park :D

Drove the car into Texarkana today. Both Hope scales were open but i didn't see any inspections going on either going or coming home. Which is unusual even without the blitz going on.

No, but the Wisconsin scale on 94 at the Illinois border has been open at 0430. That almost never happens, even during blitz.

Boise city oklahoma scale had at least 4 being inspected but could had been more, there were like a dozen highway patrol vehicles there. Every parking spot was occupied and people standing around everywhere.

I got a level 3 inspection today on just paperwork in SD. Figured I might get hit with my truck not having the inspection done. Was due for it last month and had it scheduled to get it done but they did not have the part for my arrow in yet. So I decided to wait until they got it in.

Also had one PC trip that I thought they may question that was about 20 minutes of drive time but none of that was a problem. The PC trip was done because stupid ELD didn't reset on my 10 for some reason. Guessing it was because of bad cell service maybe. So I just put it in PC for 20 miles or so till I got to a better area on cell service. Once I stopped it showed I had full clock again. I only drove like 9 hours that day so gonna guess that is why they didn't say anything.

She gave me a clean inspection and let me go on my way.

That is a bad sign for them. Gonna either go under or restructure is my guess if this is true,.

No doubt some need to be gone. We still have way too many trucks on the road.

It's just cutting costs. I don't see it as bankruptcy. Next will be health care plans. Does show it's ruff out there.
