Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

So does McDonald’s. In the same way for the same reasons, lol.

 

Last night around 10pm sb I-75 in Ky. was backed up for miles. Mostly Trucks. Appears to be plenty of freight being moved. Especially considering every Truck parking spots are full at 10pm. Not scientific just an observation. Reminds me of the 90’s. Lines of Trucks, for miles.

 

Was there an over saturation of trucks in the 90's then ? Raters low ?

 

There has almost always been an oversaturation of trucks, maybe like 2011 or 12 there wasn't, but have been doing this since like 96 and it's always an oversaturated market.

 

True 2020, 2021 was tighter but these megas, their special lobbyists and our politicians make sure the market stays saturated the best they can. However, they cant account for the skill it takes to be a long term successful driver. That's why the turnover is so high. Yeah they lowered the barriers to entry but it's a d### hard job to make look easy.

 

I’m referring more so to the amount of Trucks on the road as as a reflection of the overall economy.

 

I wasn’t even listening to what she was saying in the video, reading the comments was way too entertaining. All I can say is wow.

 

Just goes to show how much stupid is out there with their own trucks that have a company driver mentality

 

I'm pretty sure I'm dumber since I listened to that then when I started.
