They’re not? They’re driving wages down in the Ag sector around home. Bring a South African over on a work visa, pay him the wage required by the government, and then turn them loose in a truck because as far as the government knows he’s your farm help and not a driver.

I'm talking about the illegals with no visas and a CDL. They were brought here, were given all kinds of perks, including CDL's. Also I'm talking about the Mexicans and the Canadians stealing our freight left and right.

And I had no idea we were giving work visas for foreign truck drivers when we never have had needed them.

 

Even if they do, 1000 work visas per year is nothing. For example US issues around 1 mil green cards per year.
The main issue is the Southern border and the easy applying for asylum process. That's hundreds of thousands per year.
