That's because govt schools teach you to obey the govt and be a good consumer. Most folks could careless about education. Because if they did, they wouldn't send their kidd off to the govt babysitter. Most folks value things more than education. because everyone has an excuse of why they still send their kids off to the govt. Yet, they still manage to complain about what theyre being tought....or not for that matter. Vs taking charge of the situation and doing it themselves. Thus eliminating the govt from the equation all together. Anyways, I'm off my soapbox.

Rates in my area suck to go in/out. Always have though. They have stagnated as of late and some have gone down. Which is why I leave here and run the Midwest. I make more and save more there. Rates are better, fuel is cheaper and I use alot less of it. I'm not fighting wind or mountains. Plus I can do 65 and not get run over. Only things that suck are traffic and parking....or there lack of. If it paid worth a crap, I wouldn't leave the 90/94 corridor......ever.

Screw that place. Not gonna lie, I like the convenience and I use it. However, I wouldn't shed a tear if it went under. That will never happen though, the govt will prop it up.

It's March. It's tax time. It's always been the slowest month for freight.
In a usual slow year, doing dry van, things would get really bad right now and only start coming back up in the middle of April and that would be in the Southeast. Midwest and Northeast wouldn't not pick up till like mid May.

Yeah, but not enough to cover costs....or even close. Plus 2 day shipping is a thing of the past.
