Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

She must have just looked at van rates out of Florida.

 

I'm leased to a carrier.

 

I own my truck.
Been doing this for 9 years.

 

I do my own thing under their authority, they don't have any of their own customers.
In the past I've leased onto multiple carriers with direct freight, contracts, their own customers etc. At more than one carrier I found out I wasn't getting the real percentage of the load. It be from them flat out photoshopping contracts or them doing hanky panky by using another company they create to broker loads to themselves at whatever rate they make up.

It's one thing dealing with brokers who are out to screw you, it's another when it's your own carrier.
I like enjoy doing my own thing now anyway even though I complain about the market.

 

The better question would be why are you here posting and why is this thread 285 pages if "who cares"?
