I agree. I have done tanker work where I mask up. I have worked in chemical plants. Unless your a specialty hauler you don't mask up. You need a little training with it. Plus reminders at safety meetings.
Unless your hauling hot H2S crude oil.
You mask up long enough to open/ close a dome lid on a regular chemical tanker. Plus long enough to start / stop load and unloading. But you need to be taught that.
Most chemical plants it's the what if something terrible happens. Which in some places is once every 5 years. Others never.
Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!
