That's not how this free market works.

The law of supply demand only applies when it's in their favor.

With the exception of one scale in Kansas, everyone of them that I've passed by this week has been closed... Doesn't seem like brake Safety blitz week from what I'm seeing....

How about you guys? Anyone get inspected or see any scales busy inspecting along your routes?

I ran about 200 miles of PA interstate today and got pulled through FOUR scales/rest areas. This was on 81 and 80. Dropped down through Virginia and business as usual, scales open but no sausage party in the parking lot.

I felt sorry for some company freight hauler, Western Express or one of those, poor guy was two trucks in front of me and had a tire off the rim on his trailer when they pulled him in. I think I actually saw the DOT cop blow his load he was so happy.

The scale on 81 here is a mile from my exit. Coming back through after parking it I went into town and there was a guy pulled over on the exit ramp...... probably missed the scale. Wouldn't wanna be that driver Lol

Masked up like a total slave while waving a Yankee flag. Oh, the irony.

The scale on 114 as you get into Ft Worth a few miles from Texas Motor Speedway had 4 trucks pulled in, and at least 5 troopers doing inspections yesterday.

That is a popular lane for containers and dump trucks but they had a dry van and flat as well as and 2 end dumps pulled in.
