Funny thing is I hauled once for them before a few months back, same origin, different destination city, but close to Vernon though (Riverside, CA). Pickup # on rate con wasn't the right one, had to call to get correct one. Was told appt was at 0600 next day Walmart Riverside. Get there to check in at 0500, none of the numbers on my BOL or the rate con was the correct delivery appt # that walmart needed to check in their system, so I had to call broker. Like 20 ##### times. He sent me a different BOL than the one shipper gave me, but had all the correct product and case count, I showed that to security guard, and sure enough, the PO# on that BOL was the delivery appt #. Came to find out the appt time was actually set for 0430, and Walmart allows up to one hour past appt time to be checked in, before having to be rescheduled. It was already almost 0600 by the time I had gotten that correct delivery appt #. Rescheduled delivery for next day, told broker it was gonna cost him an extra $300 because I had already booked another load to pick up that day (it was on the weekend), he agreed and told me that he would send an updated rate con Monday when he gets to the office. Sunday comes, I deliver, decide to stay home since it was a weekend and there wasn't many loads to pick up. Never got the updated rate con, I held on to the BOL until they asked for it for payment processing, I told accounting that I wasn't gonna send it until I got the updated rate con. Contacted broker, supposedly the guy who gave me the load had to deal with some personal stuff, and they went and asked shipper for extra $ to pay me, and apparently they only $150 out of them, and was all that they could give me. Whatever, signed the new rate con and added them to my DNU list. Forgot to leave a review on DAT for them. Think I'm gonna go do that now...

Yeah, they deserve a bad review. You were smart to withhold the BOL to get your updated rate con. Well played! Personally, I would have given him 15 minutes to get it to me or the load would have been put in public storage.

Another regular on 300 mi. That's the cheapest load we take. And yes everyone is lying who said that they haven't taken a cheap rate before [IMG]

We're on the CB wagon. Lost a bunch of weight last hometime.

Going with baked potato, a la baked beans, and a nuked chicken breast from the house.
When one becomes old and decrepit, you have to give yourself all the help you can.
