Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

If the rate are crushing, I'd like to know for sure. No false alarms such as that the rates are lower this week to be higher next. I would quickly sell my 2017 utility van, perhaps the truck too - cash out while I can, then I'd take about a year and a half of leave of absence and then come back reenergized for another upper cycle. That would be ok.
However, it easier said than done.

 

This is a discussion about what is most likely coming in the future.

Noone is telling you to do anything and no one is forcing you to respond.

If you are not interested, you are free to go start a thread about how great things are and how it's easy money and everyone should dive in headfirst and don't worry about anything until it cluobbers you over the head.

You certainly can do that.

The rest of us are just discussing what is coming.

 

To me it feels like 2019 again. rates were down in Feb and march and we waited for produce to open up in May for rates to go back up but it never did. That’s why you had a bunch of companies close by December of 19 and 1st quarter of 20.

i just saw 4.72 at Morton’s in vegas.

 

I use Florida discount prices. Cali is about 6 bucks, and rising.

 

I heard/read that they were starting to pull back on that

 

Wouldn’t know, but I do know vegas trails cali by about 0.40. I feel bad for them

 

Well, I didn't raise my rate with the shipper yet. I was about to do it on Monday.
Is it too late if the rates are going down?
