What he said at the end about being motivated, something, and something.

The OM is spellbound, and is going to see if he can plan on us, when he's not sitting on momma's porch, or getting truck worked on.

He seems like a pretty good guy. The OM thinks he'll get it figured out.

All of the usual suspects, and esteemed members will root against him of course.

He's new, and going to make something of himself.

Absolutely deserves to be ridiculed by the esteemed. Probably when they are ringing out their crying towels.

The OM has us planned leaving Sunday, two trips, final Friday morning, $5800 to the truck. 2300 miles / 165 DH to the final drop. The OM figures $3500 to her, $500 to me after fuel and blue sky.

Still not mega carrier company driver money, but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

The OM is the secret to Dave’s success. Otherwise he’d be delivering same day loads for $448.00

I did do one like that last week in fact.

That one's that posted a few posts back.

It was 108 mile DH ( which is the exact same way we were going anyways ), load was 156 miles I think ( which was 52 miles past where we were going anyways for the big load ),

So The OM turned a $75 loss into a $400 gain.

Enough for the esteemed to do their laundry at The AmBest.

    Mine paid $472.85

Maybe never. Might be selling. If I buy it’ll be my neighbors Stoughton that I steered him towards. Lucky for me, he hates it. Lol. He got it for 37k around October 2019. He’s got a brand new ATRO that’s just sitting. Meanwhile he can run some of the value off the Stoughton. I’m not spending over $28k max on a Trailer. He wants mine on trade to use as a Shop. It’s all talk right now. He’s also been wanting my Truck for years. Might just sell it to him. Too many unknowns right now. Playing it by ear. Not sure what I want to do.

You know what's really sad? After a week like that, he still made twice, maybe thrice what a mega company driver made.

And he started $600(?) in the hole????

Wise man once said," Don't go broke, trying to prove something to a bunch of fools that are already broke."

Pretty smart dude. Definitely not esteemed.

I don’t think he had taken out taxes yet, so his “NET” isn’t great at all.

And a great attitude doesn’t make money fall from the sky. I had a great attitude at all the megas I drove for. Still went broke. But that’s a debate that is similar to loyalty and two week notices. None of that ever worked for me either.

I will keep doing how I see fit. It did get me into this sweet CEO position :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

Did he though? Out of that 2300 he still has two break downs to pay for and a truck payment and he still has to pay the tax man.

    Siinman and JoeyJunk Thank this.

With all those expenses, just as you and the other esteemed keep grinding on, how much actual tax can there be?

For what he's paying for PD, I'll bet there's no truck payment, or very, very small.

    Siinman and dwells40 Thank this.
