You are right. Over my many years, I have found I came out better being up front. Best to have any if's, and's or maybe's cleared up before I come over there.
An offer with hair all over it gets even more complicated. A good understanding on the front end, keeps down (eliminates) any misunderstanding on the back end. Get it, do it, collect in a businesslike way.
