Pull In the yard today to wash and have a beer coming around the back loam pile and see the unit threw a code, get out and see this, oil filter was loose, sabotage or just dumb luck?

 

if I didn’t have bad luck I’d have no luck at all, it’s never happened before though…

 

Possibly blew the gasket on the filter. I have seen that once before. Or the last service didn’t get it tight. Seen that before too

 

Gasket was flat, 900 hours on service it was actually close to due

Short but real story: An owner operator took a load for $1000 to later find out from the shipping manager that they paid $3500 for it.

The owner in question took it as a backhual. Had he known, from the start, what they actually 'got in it', would he have still taken it for that much? Probably yes. Still better than going back empty. Or maybe he would have found courage to start negotiating from $3000 or even $3450 but the chances for getting that would have been slim.
At least now he is aware how much they really got in it.
