Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

I know on ITS you can block any broker you choose. TQL is one of the many on my list. It solves a lot of issues

 

Does it subtract the Available Load data on Load to Truck Ratio for you specifically when you block them or does it simply remove their loads from YOUR load search?

 

It just removes the from the search. I never look at that truck ratio. For many reasons like was suggested before. Also ratios change daily and by the time you get there it may be completely the opposite as a day or two before.

 

Not to mention…….what about the loads that never hit the board to begin with? I have several phone calls a week from brokers who call their favorite carriers BEFORE they post a load that is tendered to them.
This would make the load to truck data inaccurate as well.

 

They used to offer that as a standard option. Now, they make you upgrade to a more expensive version to get that "feature."

 

Agreed. They've become somewhat predatory and scam-like over the years. Someone new would never know they're getting screwed if they didn't experience them during their infancy.

The brokers favorite carrier is the cheapest carrier.

A couple years ago when rates were to the moon on spot market loads a guy named @Beaver9 would post on here a lot...

He was loyal to two or three different brokers throughout the highest rates in history... leaving thousands of dollars on the table or in the brokers pocket... Everyone was on here telling him, he was essentially being used for cheap...

The thought for him was, soon as the market went south, like today, he would still be running and making decent money because of his loyalty to them...

What happened? They found a new favorite carrier to bend over with no lube, not giving him any loads... LOL


And yes lots of loads may not get posted but lots of trucks never get posted either....

 

I remember that. Have to give him credit for publicly admitting the bending over once the market really fell. Most people wouldn't have said a word about it.
