I was always a fan of the mom and pops. That said, I really liked the Petro in Joplin.

    Knucklehead and Siinman Thank this.

EPA doesn't care about the law, it's all about going after those they don't like.

Which truck stop on I80 is better?

    Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this.

Coming back to the original topic of this thread. Since Monday it feels like post Covid days. The market is absolutely on fire. Thanks to the snow storm I guess. Don't know how long will it last, but oh boy, does it feel nice to book $4-5 per mile loads again!

It's amazing how a little disruption can double and triple the rates.

Can January be the best freight month of the year?

    Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this.

I really hope it's the begining of market flip. Truckers are tired of surviving

I hope you are right. I know this storm was big enough to put a lot of freight on hold. Maybe we will get lucky and it will last longer than a few weeks. It is nice not having to fight to get a load.

I get people need second chances and definitely think its a good idea to get these folks "tools" to succeed when they get released in hopes that they become productive members of society.

But they should be training them in an industry that actually has a shortage because this one is over saturated. Think the clueless media with be pushing the driver shortage myth until the end of time.
