It's not 3-4 years old equipment, it's mostly trucks with over 700k miles that were bought used.
New trucks are pretty solid up to half a million miles

Can’t imagine having a $4000 house payment. Mine is only $1000 with insurance and taxes. I have no other loans. My wife will be making over $80k a year soon as she’s moving into a vice president position at the credit union. The only way I can make more money is to go back on the road for someone or myself.

A state of low income and astronomical housing prices. Everyone is circling the drain right now even specialized stuff is in the toilet. My equipment is paid for, didn't plan on keeping it this long, but guess it is my ride or die truck now, had a $4.50 fuel fitting crap the bed last night and if I didn't have tools, a little bit of knowledge that $4.50 part would have likely cost me 2-4g in towing and repairs at a shop. Instead it cost me $4.50 about 20 gallons in fuel dumping out every where and a night of sitting in a cold ### truck with my Emergency little buddy heater keeping it liveable.

I’ve been in my house since 2009. I have a good $300,000 in equity. I’d like to sell it, but then what

If I lived in Montana you would never get me out of there. I hope real estate prices come back to reality, but don't really see it happening without alot of pain for alot of people. I would stay the hell out of trucking though if I was out right now. The problem with trucking is it always calls ya back, it is a love hate thing, there is days I absolutely hate it, then there are those days when all the stars align and everything goes right and I love it, those are becoming rarer and rarer though, even for me that is on a dedicated run that is about as easy as it gets, I still feel like I am just treading water though.
