The only good paying loads out of laredo are produce loads with 2 LTL pallets of illegal immigrants

How much you consume really is the best measure of your burden on society and what your fair share of taxes is, plus consumption tax turns every pimp, hooker, and drug dealer into tax payers overnight.

They’re going to keep supplying them. Just going to keep the production plants overseas where they’re at. They have plants here too.

From what I hear the rate is currently $1.80 to Laredo. That’s what the owner is telling Drivers. My guess is it’s paying more. That’s for empty racks. Parts loads pay 30% more than racks. Canadian Steel must be paying pretty good to justify buying brand new aluminum spreads with conestoga kits. As for Laredo automotive Loads, everyone in town is hauling them. No way they’re chasing $1.20 pm freight.

One of the drivers got caught smuggling 4 illegals, 2 women and 2 kids. They say it’s a 10 yr. felony x 4 counts. First time I met the guy, I said there’s something shady about him. Boss asked me how I knew. I know shady. Lol. Last I heard the truck was still impounded, been 5-6 mos. now.

I’ve been once. Place wasn’t bad at all, like I’d heard. Boomtown for Trucking. Good Truckstops, friendly people, good cheap food. Load paid $7000. Chrysler Sterling Hts load through Landstar. It was before Covid. The week after Houston lost electricity. All the warehouses were short handed. I got it on a fluke. Got empty 1/2 mile from home. Checked the board, there it was for $6k. I dropped the phone trying to call them fast. When I pulled it up again it was at $7k. Lol. Best load I ever got in 19 years, and 2064 loads.

And if wouldn’t have let it go so long or get this bad it wouldn’t hurt this bad. But anytime you give up a bad habit it’s uncomfortable.

nobody says keep smoking because quitting is too hard.

It pays more than that. Drivers pay is $800, fuel is ?? Another $700-$800. Anyone hauling for GM is constantly running Laredo. They get the loads directly from GM’s Logistic Load Board. It’s ran by one company. Starts with an “A”, I can’t ever remember the name. The current “GM Supplier Contract” shuttle I’m running is bid through them. From what I understand, you need a minimum of 10 Trucks to get access to the board. All the loads are considered “Expedite Loads” Everyone in the Metro Detroit area is chasing the same Loads on the same board. One small OO told me he spent 3 hrs. bidding almost 200 times before getting the load. They’re all foreigners. Mostly Bosnian. I’m sure you’re familiar with the companies. Midwest, Moon Star, VIP, and a dozen other smaller wannabes.

Yeah, those loads do pay more, I was taking about the general load board freight and how I never see loads that pay even $2 per mile (Covid times set aside).
