Did you ever notice that most people that self describe as the backbone of the country don’t have one of their own.

80,000 MORE truck drivers ? Who comes up with these numbers... it should be the opposite. 80,000 less drivers would do a world of good for this industry in the state that it is in.

"We're 80,000 drivers short of what we need" has been the standard number and reply in these fake news industry stories for the whole 25 years I've been trucking. As we all know it's just massive turnover. Lousy pay and poor treatment are the problems here. There's probably 3 or 4 actual CDL holders out there for every trucking job that exists. Most of them don't even use their CDL to earn a living they've moved on from the industry's widespread disrespect and abuse.

"Why do they want to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on foreign criminals who broke into our country, and shower them with free everything- welfare, food stamps, housing, aid to dependent children, cell phones, healthcare, public school education, and even free college, while they give U.S. citizens less and less?" -
I’d like to know who they think are going to fill all these new factory jobs. Nobody wants them now. Pay is about $1.00 hr. more than Fast Food jobs. I don’t think it will happen anyways. The idea that companies will have to pay higher wages is a bad bet. More likely any gains will be lost by currency devaluations. It’s happening now, while wages are already too low, and inflation is already high. There seems to be a reset in progress. Right now we’re in Classic Stagflation mode. Real wages dropping against inflation. Hard to imagine a big boom recovery any time soon. Interesting times for sure.
