Naw. If Godwin's law is invoked, thread's over. Pack it in.

Feels like prices are a bit soft this week. I'm suddenly having more trouble getting loads than I am getting trucks. I'm still paying 3500 from AR-CO and 2400 from AR-Columbus, OH though... So rates aren't exactly low, they just feel like they might be flattening or dropping slightly.

Many drivers took a week off for the 4th holiday. This week they're all back looking for loads. Next week things should get back to pre-4th levels.

I doubt it. The week leading up to the 4th is the last week of the second quarter, historically the best rates of the year as manufacturers try to get everything off their property to avoid inventory taxes and make those quarterly financial reports look as good as possible. Not that rates can't reach that level again, just that its a much bigger equation than simply guys taking a few days off.

I have to make sure I'm checking lower price points going forward this week and next then... rates have been on a steady trajectory to the moon since a very specific day in December so I almost forgot what this felt like lol.

Missed this a little in the crush of messages since then. Seems to be leveling out in the usual post-holiday slowdown. I don't anticipate that to continue.
