    I don't haul 'Ol Roy. ;)

I mean I would if the rate was there. Standing policy everything in the box is treated / driven the same.

    PPLC and gokiddogo Thank this.

Man I was just looking at our board. By the time I'm empty, and get the truck all squared away, all the freight is gonna be gone.

I'm home now. Just powered through a massive New York, and I'm on my second Dos Equis Amber. Got two stops ahead of the game today. I think agent was being JUST a bit ambitious tomorrow with 8 stops lol.
Hopefully I can get my Landstar inspection done afterward, shop is on the way to the next batch. Might forego the baked potato. I've just realized the cats are getting FAT lmfao. The big one sits / lays on the dash.
Laid up there eating potato chips going through SoCal just like she owned the place.

I know everyone is dogging dog food as a preferred load in our lowly box type trailers but I have hauled some of it that paid really well once in a while. Bottled water can be lucrative in the summer time too when demand for both it and the trucks that haul it are high.

    DieselDisciple and PPLC Thank this.

    Talked to my brother yesterday.
He's the shipping clerk at a oil refinery in jersey.
They ship hazmat loads down to Houston.
Says their paying almost double than they did
    2 years ago.
He says they can't find any trucks when they need them.
I told him I don't know what happened to all of them.

Water pays good in summer. Last year I did bunch of loads 200 miles for $1000. IN-MI. This year they will be paying $1400-1600 I think

Wonder what that works out to per bottle. Even if it were to double in shipping costs. I bet it wouldn't be more than .10. Including all the trucking in empty bottles or plastic to make them. Won't be much to the end consumer.

I used a Fred Meyer Coupon on Saturday, paid $1.99 for a 32 pack which works out to about 6 cents per bottle ;-)
