I did locate free wifi inside the building, it wasnt too bad that's if you want to sit in a restaurant for a bit.I am familiar with where to park for the best connection .. under the circumstances that price is too much, I don't believe anyone uses it enough to abuse the service.

No, they say not near the fuel pumps or the shop and, apparently, not next to any trucks. So, in other words, nowhere in the parking lot. I went into the drivers lounge and it didn't even work there.

Not even going to start on that part.

I find it odd, when you go to the login and pay page, I have seen wireless connection speeds of 75 mbps, then after you have wasted points or what ever you get a wifi connection of maybe 11 mbps, usually 1 to 3 mbps.

just trying to get mail and a few other things, the speed is so slow, mail will time out.

If I went on OTR I think I would shell out the $59 to get Verizon hotspot. But I would think that trucks would soon be wifi enabled . Like what GM is doing to all their cars.

the qualcomm on board is wifi enabled, the company won't pay for the service and iff they did it would be regulated. no face book personal email etc. plus I beleive they would follow the foot prints on what and where you've been.

if I recall correctly the qc can locate wandering wifi and the lije. its been awhile since ive tried that.

I have seen speeds higher then that.

Their data costs are too high for me, after you buy the hotspot.

Ya, thinking I would prefer just paying for my own data vs the company nosing around.
