SMP Safety Management Plan. I Guess
What if the Conditional Rating was imposed due to a past audit.
Company I'm with now has had a Conditional safety rating for like 20 years now.
So apparently it's not a big deal.
Only time I can remember it causing any problems was, I had called a broker off a load board to book a load and when he ran the DOT # it came up conditional. He wouldn't book the load.
So made another phone call, another Broker and no problem. Got the info for the haul and off I went.
Having a conditional rating means you are closer to having your DOT number pulled and it will flag you for more inspections. Other than that, I'm not sure it matters much.
