Rustoleum has a farm impliment caterpillar yellow paint. Is it a pretty close match for Cat yellow paint? Or what off brand yellow paint have any of you used that looks right?

The Majic brand at tractor supply is pretty close. I use it some when I am not up to goin to CAT. Rustoleum may be but I haven't tried it

You can buy CAT yellow in rattle cans from the Cat dealer.

take a piece of card board and try it before you buy it, unless you're ordering from internet be careful, I wanted paint my Cat some sort of canary yellow or hemi orange and it turned out to be almost exactly Cummins ISX red, so now I have a red Cat and that was Rustoleum brand.

Lol nah. My motor has a pile of receipts and a documented history. I just wanted to clean it up some. I'd probably raise the hood 3 or 4 times a day to have a look-see if it was all shiny and new looking.

I have found the John Deere buff primer sealer is real close to CAT yellow.
