I am going to try and copy paste some info from my spreadsheet. This is miles I ran and break city For the month of June 2013. Hopefully the board will keep the formatting so it's readable. The color codes are for perdiem tax purposes. Green is home, Blue is 75% For leaving home and arriving home. Red for OTR. Hotel stays are reflected in the red. Gross for this work was about $4600 which is below average for the year.

9318 miles in 20 days is very good, it seems, with nine full days off! I believe you've been averaging about .57 per mile and this is just less than .50
Just trying to figure out everything Superior, as I have some good news from them. I do appreciate this kind of information! -
.57 is year end number. Holidays, Vacation pay and any paid hourly time will change that number as they are not tied to miles. I am also not calculating pay daily so a day here and there may be missing.Twicebit Thanks this. -

Figured I would dredge up this thread for anyone who is interested. YTD gross for week ending 12/15 is $58,267.77.
I should hit the 60k (gross) mark by end of year.mxpx148, HauntedSchizo19 and Twicebit Thank this. -
For anyone that cares or is interested, I ended the year grossing $60,301.40. 2013 was my first full year of trucking. I was off more than I can remember. Between home time, spring breaks, graduations, summer vacations, thanksgiving and Christmas, I was off quite a bit. I hope to make the same or maybe a little more this year.
XtremeFitness and mxpx148 Thank this. -
Just starting to pull together 2013 info for taxes. I got a lot more home time this year because the last 6 months was all dedicated. I also made about $1500 less. I think 31days off is worth $1500. Looking at the last half of 2013 It appears that running all dedicated would pay about $3000 less for the whole year but that may not be the case. We seem to be pretty busy with it at the moment.

I am in the process of going over my logs to see how many days I was out on the road, worked local, or at home. I can post those when I am done.
